New Delhi, Dec. 18 -- The draft electoral rolls for Tamil Nadu and Gujarat will be published on Friday, the ECI said.
The poll panel said in a note that the Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) and District Electoral Officers (DEOs) have been instructed to share hard copies of the draft rolls with all recognized political parties.
The draft electoral rolls will also be uploaded on the websites of the CEOs and DEOs, along with lists of absent, shifted, dead, and duplicate entries. This move aims to ensure transparency and allow citizens to verify their names on the electoral rolls.
