Patna, July 31 -- Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar today said that the draft electoral roll of Bihar will be published on August 1 and claims and objections for corrections in the roll can be made till September 1.
Kumar said in a release here that claims and objections can be made for adding names of any missing eligible elector, removing names of any ineligible elector or correction of any entry in the
draft electoral rolls.
He stated that that along with the publication of the roll, the respective District Election Officers in
all 38 districts of the state will provide both digital and physical copies of the draft electoral list to all recognized political parties.
