Pune, Jan. 7 -- In a defining moment of the prestigious VLSID 26 Awards Night, the VLSI Society of India (VSI) conferred its Lifetime Achievement Award upon eminent scientist Dr. Vijay P. Bhatkar, globally acclaimed as the Father of Supercomputing in India.

The award recognises Dr. Bhatkar's pioneering leadership in the development of the PARAM series of supercomputers and his unparalleled contribution to advancing VLSI design, semiconductor research, and high-performance computing in the country.
