Nashik, Nov. 1 -- Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ashok Wuike today announced that a sports academy with a capacity of 600 students will be established to develop the latent sports qualities among tribal students.
Dr. Wuike was speaking when he inaugurated the state-level sports competitions of Eklavya Model Residential School at the Late Meenatai Thackeray Divisional Sports Complex here.
MP Dr. Shobha Bachhav, MLA Nitin Pawar, Tribal Development Department Commissioner Leena Bansod, Additional Commissioner Gopichand Kadam, Dinkar Pawara, Project Officer Naresh Akunuri (Kalvan), Arpita Thube (Nashik) were present on this occasion. The sports flame was lit by Minister Dr. Wuike.
