Mumbai, Dec. 30 -- Dr Siddhivinayak Barve, Director of KET's Scientific Research Centre, Mulund, Mumbai, has been elected Chairman of the National Centre for Science Communicators (NCSC) for the term 2025-2028. The NCSC, headquartered in Mumbai, is a leading organisation dedicated to advancing science communication in India.
Shivprasad Khened, Advisor at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya and former Director of Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai, along with veteran science journalist and editor Vithal Nadkarni, have been elected Vice-Chairmen. The election announcement was made by eminent science communicator and NCSC Chief Executive, Suhas B. Naik-Satam.
