Hyderabad, Aug. 6 -- Mr Raghava Reddy and Dri Ravinutala Shashidhar were elected as the President and the General Secretary of Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) here today.
Along with them, a new leadership team was also elected unanimously in its meeting held today.
The new team will be responsible for organizing the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festivities and continuing the samithi's mission of promoting Hindu culture and heritage in the region, the Samithi said in a release here..
The other elected individuals are - Vaikuntam Mettu, B Rajavardhan Reddy and Ms Shashikala (all Vice Presidents); K..Mahender, G Ramesh, N.Butchi Reddy, A Bhaskerand B Mahipal Reddy ( all are secretaries) and Sriram Vyas as Treasurer.
