Agartala, Dec. 28 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha spoke to his Uttarakhand counterpart Pushkar Singh Dhami Saturday night over the unfortunate death of Tripura student Anjel Chakma following an alleged racial attack.
Dr Saha said Anjel was viciously attacked by assailants in Dehradun on December 9 and ultimately passed away from his injuries on December 26 at Graphic Era Hospital in Uttarakhand.
The Uttarakhand Chief Minister reported that five individuals have already been apprehended and assured that a comprehensive investigation is underway to guarantee that justice is achieved, Dr Saha said.
