Ayodhya, Dec. 15 -- Dr. Ram Vilas Das Vedanti, who played a significant role in the Ram temple movement, died in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh on Monday. The former BJP MP's health suddenly deteriorated during a Katha festival in Rewa Madhya Pradesh yesterday night. He was admitted to the hospital, where he died this morning.
77-year-old Ram Vilas Das Vedanti has been instrumental in the temple movement along with CM Yogi Adityanath's Guru Mahant Avaidyanath and Mahant Paramhans Das since 1990. He has also been an MP twice in 1996 and 1998.
