Pune, Sept. 21 -- Dr Rahul V. Karad, Founder of the National Legislators' Conference (NLC) Bharat, was today felicitated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for his commitment to strengthening democracy.
The honour was bestowed at the inaugural session of the 11th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Conference held at Karnataka's Vidhana Soudha. The felicitation took place in the presence of several dignitaries, including Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader.
