New Delhi, July 8 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge today accused the NDA government in Bihar, of reducing the state to a "crime capital" and pushing it into a deep crisis of law and order, economic justice, and governance.

In a post on X, Kharge said, "In the past six months alone, 8 businessmen have been murdered in Bihar, and the police have come under attack at least five times. Just yesterday, a horrifying incident occurred where five members of a single family were brutally killed due to superstition and even innocent children were not spared."

He termed the JD(U)-BJP partnership as a "fraudulent alliance" and held it responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
