Mumbai, May 7 -- The 'Ladki Bahin' Yojana installment, which was delayed due to technical reasons, will now be doubled and credited to beneficiaries' accounts by May 15.
There was an atmosphere of concern among beneficiaries as the payments for March and April had not yet been deposited.
However, the administration has now confirmed that a total of rupees 3,000 (combined for both months) will be transferred to women's bank accounts simultaneously.
Eligible women will receive 3,000 at once, covering the pending dues for March and April.
The distribution was delayed due to the closing of the financial year and technical glitches encountered during the e-KYC process.
