Ranchi, Sept. 15 -- The Department of Mass Communication at Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) celebrated the Foundation Day of Doordarshan with great enthusiasm today on the university campus.
On the occasion, Divakar Kumar, Assistant Director of Doordarshan Centre, Ranchi, delivered a special lecture on "Public Broadcasting for a Developed India".
He was felicitated with a shawl and memento at the start of the event.
During his lecture, Divakar Kumar highlighted Doordarshan's role as India's largest public broadcaster, sharing information on education, agriculture, research, space programs, government initiatives, and campaigns such as Operation Sindoor.
