Chennai, Sept. 21 -- Averring that education and language learningshould focus on students' welfare and not be turned into politicalcontroversies, union Education Miniser Dharmendra Pradhan todayurged the Tamil Nadu government not to politicise the three-languagepolicy as envisaged under the New Education Policty-2020 (NEP-2020).
Tamil Nadu has been steadfastly opposing Hindi imposition and rejectedthe NEP-20 which envisaged implementation of the 3-language formula andhas been sticking to its long followed of stand 2-language policy in theState.
