Thane, Oct. 27 -- Medical experts at Thane Civil Hospital have expressed growing concern over the increasing number of spinal and postural problems among young people, largely attributed to the excessive use of mobile phones and laptops. According to District Surgeon Dr Kailash Pawar, nearly half of the youth visiting the hospital's physiotherapy department complain of neck and back pain linked to prolonged screen exposure and poor posture.
Dr Pawar explained that continuous screen engagement is taking a severe physical toll on the younger generation.
