Dharamshala, March 12 -- The Dhauladhar Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrine Care Society (DPAECS) observed World Obesity Day at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC), Kangra, to raise awareness about childhood obesity and endocrine disorders among patients, parents and the general public.
DPAECS, founded by pediatric endocrinologist Dr Atul Gupta, works to support children suffering from endocrine disorders such as obesity, diabetes, thyroid ailments, growth disorders and other hormonal problems. The society aims to provide an effective platform connecting doctors, patients and parents while promoting patient education, early diagnosis and long-term management of chronic endocrine diseases.
