Shimla, Dec. 28 -- Doctors across Himachal Pradesh continued their strike on Sunday in protest against the dismissal of Senior Resident following an assault incident at (IGMC).
Medical students and doctors assembled at the badminton hall of the Atal Auditorium on the IGMC campus, where they strongly condemned the government's action, terming the dismissal unilateral and unjust, and demanded its immediate reversal.
Addressing the unfolding situation, Chief Minister appealed to the agitating doctors to end the strike and resume duties from Monday.
The Chief Minister assured that he would hold discussions with senior doctors at IGMC, order a comprehensive inquiry into the incident, and review the decision taken against the senior resident....
