Ranchi, Nov. 9 -- A doctor was brutally murdered by slitting his throat in the Budhmu area of Ranchi, sending shockwaves across the locality.
According to police sources, the doctor was returning home from his clinic when two assailants suddenly attacked him and killed him in a gruesome manner on Saturday night. The victim, locally known as the "Bengali Doctor," was a familiar and respected figure in the area.
Upon receiving information, Budhmu police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to RIMS, Ranchi, for post-mortem examination.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the murder stemmed from a personal dispute.
