Thane, Dec. 13 -- A specialist doctor, attached to a renowned hospital in the city, has been booked by the city police on the charge of allegedly raping a patient.
The patient was taking treatment from the doctor for over past three years, police said.
Later, they became friends and their relations turned physical, the woman stated in the complaint.
They even got "married" in a temple despite the fact that the doctor's first wife was alive.
However, in the complaint filed recently, the woman accused the 48-year-old doctor of having raped her on several occasions.
An offence under various sections of Indian Penal Code has been filed with the Thane city police against the doctor, who is at large now and a hunt is on for him, source...
