Chennai, Feb. 25 -- The Students Wing of the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu staged a protest demonstration condemning the Centre's move to impose Hindi in the State on Tuesday.

The demonstration was held across the State, in which the members of the Student's Wing shouted slogans against the Centre for coercing the State to accept the NEP to implement the three-language formula through Hindi imposition.

Stating that Hindi imposition was aimed at destroying the educational infrastructure in the State, they also took a dig at the BJP-led Government for the recent UGC draft guidelines and demanded its withdrawal, while slamming it for not release the due funds under the SSA.

The members, carrying Party flags and placards,shouted slogans "Don't im...
