Chennai, March 5 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin on Thursday said it was for the first time in the annals of Tamil Nadu politics that a single alliance--the ruling DMK-led Front--is set to face four successive elections.
The DMK-led alliance had been winning all the elections since 2019 and the DMK formed the government after a gap of ten years, winning the 2021 Assembly polls by a resounding margin and Mr Stalin became the Chief Minister for the first time, dealing a body blow to the Opposition parties, especially to the AIADMK, which had failed to taste much success in all the polls.
