Chennai, May 3 -- With the Assembly elections less than an year away, the
ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu has convened its General Council meeting, the highest
policy level decision taking body on June one at Madurai.
A resolution was adopted at the party's district secretary's meeting chaired by DMK
President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin at the party headquarters 'Anna
Arivalayam'.
Another resolution haied the four-year achievements of the DMK's Dravidia Model
governance, which is stepping into its fifth year next week, and has been functioning
as a role model for the rest of the country.
