Chennai, June 1 -- The General Council meeting of the ruling DMK in
Tamil Nadu on Sunday adopted resolutions condemning the Centre on
various issues including non-release of due funds to the State, its attempts
to impose Hindi, besides demanding withdrawal of the gold loan restrictions
announced by the RBI.
A total of 27 resolutions were adopted at the GC meet presided by Chief
Minister and DMK President M K Stalin at Madurai, where it was held after
a gap of 48 years.
