Tenkasi, Feb. 24 -- DMK cadres defaced the Hindi lettering on the trilingual name boards at two Railway stations, BSNL and Post Offices in Tenkasi district of Tamil Nadu on Monday to protest against the Centre for insisting Tamil Nadu government to accept the New Education Policy (NEP).

The DMK men, led by E.Raja MLA, who is also Tenkasi North District DMK Secretary painted Hindi lettering with black paint at Sankarankovil railway station signage and shouted slogans against the Central government for indirectly attempting to impose Hindi in Tamil Nadu.
