Bengaluru, June 23 -- Senior Congress leader and former MP DK Suresh on Monday alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) notice summoning him in connection with a gold fraud case involving ishwarya Gowda is politically motivated, asserting that he has no financial or personal ties to the accused.

Speaking to reporters before appearing at the ED office, Suresh said he would fully cooperate with the inquiry and respond through his lawyer. "Some of the documents they've asked for are irrelevant to me. I fail to understand why such a notice was issued when I have no connection to this case."
