Bengaluru, Nov. 22 -- Amid mounting speculation of a power-sharing arrangement between DK Shivakumar and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, a key factor that has received the least attention is the arithmetic.

Talk of a power-sharing arrangement between the two leaders is not new. It traces back to the aftermath of the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections.

What is apparent now is that the power arithmetic, however, is far from favourable to Shivakumar.
