Bengaluru, Dec. 8 -- Former Karnataka Minister KN Rajanna on Monday said that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar would not be the sole contender for the post of Karnataka Chief Minister and that several other ministers would have to be considered in case a leadership change is contemplated.
However, Ranjana also made it clear that the Congress Legislative Party had elected Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for a full five-year term and would look forward to that being fulfilled.
Rajanna pointed out that the claims of many senior leaders, including Home Minister G Parameshwara, MB Patil, and HK Patil would would have to be considered if a change occurred.
