New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- From being accused of not doing work earlier, the Delhi Jal Board has, over the past year, transformed to an extent that presently it can get works to the tune of Rs 2100 crore sanctioned in a day, Delhi's Water Minister Parvesh Verma has said.

He said that after reaching out to Delhi's villages, colonies and all the nooks and corners of the city, it was revealed that the previous AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal was unable to get crucial water and sewerage work done during the past eleven years. Now the same water board gets such projects worth Rs 10 crore per constituency or a village, cleared smoothly, he claimed.
