Srinagar, Oct. 22 -- In view of the approaching winter season, the Divisional Administration, Kashmir, has urged citizens to observe strict safety measures to prevent deaths caused by asphyxiation and fire incidents - both of which are known to surge during the harsh winter months across the Valley.

In a public advisory issued by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, the administration has stressed the need for heightened caution and strict adherence to safety protocols, citing repeated observations that most fire incidents stem from electrical short circuits, use of substandard heating appliances, and unsafe storage of flammable materials inside homes.
