District Administration seals two stone crusher units owned by businessman in Pakur

Pakur, Oct. 29 -- The Pakur district administration has sealed two stone crusher units owned by businessmen Azhar Islam and Mazhar Islam for allegedly threatening local residents, resorting to violence, and operating their quarries in violation of safety and environmental regulations.

The crackdown was carried out at Belpahari and Jiajodi, where both crusher units and their associated quarries were shut down following official directives.

The operation, led by Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Simon Marandi, was conducted in coordination with officials from the Mining Department, Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board, Circle Officer (CO), and local police.
