Ch. Sambhajinagar, Nov. 21 -- The district administration in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has instructed authorities to initiate criminal action against individuals involved in illegal extraction of minor minerals and for obstructing ongoing industrial construction activities.
The directive was issued during a high-level review meeting following increasing complaints from industrial stakeholders.
District Collector Dilip Swamy chaired the meeting at the Planning Hall of the Collector's Office, which included officials from industry bodies, entrepreneurs, licensed miners, mine owners, the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Auric City, and the District Industries Centre.
