Bhubaneswar, Jan. 1 -- The disposal of Disproportionate Asset (DA) cases under Prevention of Corruption Act by Odisha's anti-corruption Vigilance wing in 2025 is the highest ever in the state and also amongst all Anti-Corruption Bureaus in the country, the Vigilance Directorate said in an annual performance report today.

The disposal of 155 cases apart, 108 cases ended in conviction in 2025 at 50 per cent conviction rate. In these, 135 accused persons were convicted, among whom 20 were Class-I officers, 23 Class-II officers, 74 Class-III employees, 2 Class IV employees, 11 other public servants and 5 private persons, it claimed.
