Lucknow, Feb. 14 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major decision to reduce the loss of life and property due to natural disasters.
Online training related to disaster management has now been made mandatory for administrative and police officers posted in all districts of the state.
State Relief Commissioner and Additional Chief Executive Officer Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod has issued instructions in this regard by sending a letter to the Chief Secretary and the Appointments Department. According to the order, officers must complete the disaster management course available on the Government of India's portal.
