Imphal, Aug. 29 -- A disability assessment camp for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was conducted today at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Kakching.
The event marked a significant milestone in local governance and healthcare delivery, particularly for residents requiring disability certification and UDID cards.
The camp was jointly organised by the Health Department, Kakching, under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Kakching, in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Office (DSWO), Kakching. A total of 84 individuals underwent assessment by medical professionals from various specialties, in line with the prescribed norms and guidelines for evaluating disability.
