Los Angeles, April 16 -- Director Mary Harron who marked the 25th anniversary of her cult classic 'American Psycho', starring Christian Bale as the homicidal serial killer Patrick Bateman, is baffled by 'Wall Street bros' - people still working in Wall Street - idolisation of the character.

Speaking to Letterboxd Journal, according to Variety, the director of the 2000 black-comedy-satirical-horror-thriller film said that they have completely missed the point of the film -- a satire on "a gay man's" hatred for women.
