Nagpur, Aug. 9 -- NCP president Sharad Pawar, referring to the 50% tariff imposed by the U S President Donald Trump on Indian goods, on Saturday said diplomatic outreach is intact, but nobody can control US president Trump.

Pawar made these remarks during a press conference held as part of his regional tour in Nagpur.

"This is an attempt to pressure us. I don't want to say that diplomacy has failed but no one can control Trump; he does whatever comes to mind, so we should not pay too much attention to him." Pawar said.

Pawar also called for supporting the Central government in the face of what he termed as pressure tactics by US President Donald Trump amid ongoing tariff tensions.
