Sharjah, Sept. 30 -- The Sharjah Warriorz today announced the inclusion of Indian cricket stalwart Dinesh Karthik for Season 4 of the DP World ILT20, marking his first appearance in the tournament. Karthik replaces Sri Lanka's Kusal Mendis in the JP Duminy-coached side.
A T20 veteran with a career spanning two decades, Karthik is known for his finishing prowess, six-hitting ability, and tactical acumen. He was part of India's victorious squads in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, and played a key role as batting coach in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's maiden IPL title win in 2025.
