Chandigarh, Dec. 1 -- Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has confirmed that his film Border-2 will release on January 23 next year.

The announcement came through Dosanjh's social media accounts along with the first look poster, showing him in an Air Force uniform flying a jet during battle sequences.

The film faced delays due to objections from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) regarding Dosanjh's casting. FWICE had raised concerns over his recent work with a Pakistani actress, claiming it was unsuitable for a patriotic-themed movie and requested his removal.
