Sindhudurg, Oct. 20 -- Diksha Chavan from Kankavli has brought glory to Sindhudurg district by winning a silver medal in the 59th Maharashtra State Under-21 Carrom Championship organised by the Maharashtra Carrom Association.
Owing to her remarkable performance, she has been selected to represent Team Maharashtra in the upcoming 50th Sub-Junior National Carrom Championship.
The state-level tournament was held on October 14-15 at the MCA Training Center in Dadar, Mumbai, with over 160 participants from across Maharashtra, including 12 players from Sindhudurg district.
