Ghaziabad, Aug. 21 -- A 23-year-old differently-abled woman was found dead at her home in the Loni area of Ghaziabad, a day after her family reported an alleged sexual assault.
The woman, who was speech and hearing impaired and also had intellectual disabilities, had gone missing briefly the previous evening.
According to her father, the woman left the house yesterday evening but lost her way. While returning, she approached strangers for help. The family alleges that during this time, she was taken advantage of by a group of unknown individuals who raped her and then dropped her in another part of the area. She later returned home in a distressed condition.
