Bhubaneswar, June 20 -- The diarrhoeal situation in Odisha is showing a declining trend, thanks to the concerted efforts of field-level teams from various departments, official sources said on Friday.
Currently, anti-diarrhoeal operations are underway across the state, with special focus on districts such as Jajpur, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Dhenkanal.
Additional doctors and support staff have been deployed in these districts. Adequate stocks of medicines, oral rehydration salts (ORS), fluids, and injections have been made available at multiple levels - including hospitals, health sub-centres, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi Centres (AWCs).
