Patna, Sept. 25 -- In a straegic move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today appointed union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as the in-charge for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections and entrusted him with the crucial responsibility of steering the party's campaign in the state.

The announcement was made through a letter issued by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh. According to the letter, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and union Minister C.R. Patil has been named as co-incharges.

The letter stated that the BJP National President J.P. Nadda has made the appointments with immediate effect.
