Chennai, Sept. 22 -- Even as the Tamil Nadu government has moved the Supreme Court to secure the release of Rs 2,152 crore under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan programme, union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday said the amount due to the State would be released only on implementing the New Education Policy (NEP).
Blaming the DMK government of MK Stalin of politicising the Three-Language policy of the NEP, he made it clear that unless the State signed the agreement to implement NEP, funds will not be released.
