Mangaluru, July 30 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged mass burial case near Dharmasthala in Karnataka has completed the exhumation at the second identified burial site located deep Iinside a forest near the Nethravathi River. According to officials, the process continues at two more sites as part of the investigation into disturbing claims made by a whistleblower. Despite adverse weather and flooding at the dig sites, a team of 30 personnel-including tehsildars, forensic experts, civic workers, and SIT officers-is on site with 24/7 armed police protection.
