Beltangady (Karnataka), Aug. 20 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Dharmasthala mass burial allegations today continued its interrogation of an anonymous complainant who had earlier claimed he buried hundreds of bodies in the village on others' instructions. The complainant had pointed out 17 alleged burial sites, but no major skeletal remains were recovered during excavations, raising doubts about his version. Bones found at one site, skeletal remains recovered in Banglegudde forest, and a skull produced by the complainant have been sent for forensic tests.
