Kannur, Nov. 6 -- The Kerala government has given administrative sanction for Rs. 99.99 lakh project for developing a Manaveeyam-model street in Peralassery in Dharamadam Assembly constituency of the district, as part of the Tourism Department's initiatives to tap into the high potential of the panoramic locale in north Kerala.
The salient features of the project include road front development, children's play zone with state-of-the-art equipment, kiosks, cafeteria, open air theatre, lighting, setting up street furniture and plumbing and electrical works.
"This project is aimed at providing a quality ambience for tourists as well as local holidayers visiting the scenic Dharamadam area," Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas sad.
