Ayodhya, Nov. 25 -- The Dharma Dhwaj, hoisted atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, represents dignity, unity, and civilizational continuity and is considered a symbol of the ideals of Ramrajya.
The specially designed saffron flag, measuring 22 feet long and 11 feet wide, was hoisted to mark this historic occasion.
Designed by a parachute expert from Ahmedabad, the flag weighs two to three kilograms and is built to withstand winds and weather conditions on the temple's 161-foot-high summit and 42-foot-high flagstaff.
