Dharamshala, Dec. 13 -- Participants from across India and abroad are expected to join the Dharamshala Marathon, scheduled for December 25.
Online registration for the Marathon, from the Athletic Ground Dharamshala, will remain open till December 20.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Zafar Iqbal said the event aims to promote sports, health, fitness and sports tourism, and will be developed into an annual calendar event for the city.
He said the race will strengthen Dharamshala's identity as a major sports destination. Enthusiasts of all age groups including students, youth, senior citizens and fitness lovers can register at www.dharamshalamarathon.com and www.dharamshalasmartcity.com.
