Lucknow, Aug. 18 -- Congress MP from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, Ujjwal Raman Singh has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reminding him of the recent Dharali accident in Uttarakhand and called for necessary steps for the conservation of the Ganga Himalayan region in view of the climate change issues.
Congress MP Singh has told the Prime Minister in his letter that if the exploitation of the Himalayan region, resources, forests, rivers, water sources and mountains is not stopped, then it will not only harm the present but also the future generations."
