Dehradun, Feb. 4 -- The Uttarakhand government on Wednesday dissolved the State Madarsa Board and formalised the constitution of Uttarakhand State Minority Education Authority (USMEA) to determine the syllabus following the dissolution of the Madarsa Board.
Minority educational institutions will now be affiliated with the State Education Board.
The state government had, on Tuesday, rendered the State Madarsa Board inconsequential. It formally constituted the USMEA to regulate minority educational institutions from the next academic session and announced the disbanding of the Board.
