Srinagar, March 19 -- In a bid to enhance transparency and foster stronger police-public relations, Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat on Wednesday conducted a Public Grievance Redressal Programme in Srinagar.
This was his maiden public engagement in Kashmir since assuming charge as DGP of J&K Police.
The programme was held at the Police Control Room (PCR) Kashmir today.
A police spokesman said the event offered citizens a unique opportunity to engage directly with the top police leadership, voice their concerns, and seek resolutions for their grievances.
The programme was attended by senior police officers, including IGP Kashmir V K Birdi.
